Day 1 - Check-in:
Boarding from 6 pm on Friday
Our skipper will welcome you at the old dock of Lido degli Estensi (Porto Garibaldi) and, after a short presentation of the boat and of the “life on-board rules”, he will go shopping with you for the trip. If the weather conditions are good, in the evening you will start your night crossing to Poreč, where you will arrive on Saturday in the early morning.
After breakfast on board, and having completed the customs formalities, we will visit the picturesque town of Poreč, walking around the ancient hamlet and paying a visit to the Euphrasian Basilica, passing through the alleys built by the ancient Romans and embellished by various other cultures, first of all the Venetian one. Once completed the tour, we raise sail towards the south: lunch at anchor in one of the many lovely and protected bays of the Istrian coast. After some well-deserved relax, we will head for Rovinj where we will spend the night: this marine town offers enchanting views for a nice walk under the stars, a typical fish dinner or a cocktail on the seaside. A magic hamlet to fall in love with.
On Sunday morning, after a rich breakfast, we will head for the Marine Park of the Brijuni Islands on the south-west, where you can visit the Roman archaeological area and its magnificent park: a corner of uncontaminated nature enclosed by the Adriatic Sea. After lunch, we set sail towards the enchanting city of Pula, famous for its Roman Arena, and through a circumnavigation of Brijuni we will arrive at the Marina for our night stop. In the evening, you can walk around the historical city centre of the city and have an aperitif in one of many bars of the Arena area to fully enjoy your last Istrian evening.
After breakfast and the customs formalities, we raise sail to the west and cross again the Adriatic Sea to get back to our departure port: it will be a great experience where you can learn the basics of offshore sailing under the guide of your expert Skipper. You will arrive at the port around 6 pm.
The itinerary may be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain. This programming is intended as indicative and non-binding.
