The real engine of CRUISER 41 are its sails, created in collaboration with the American designers of Farr Yacht Design, who developed a sail surface of extreme efficiency, a perfect disposition of all the metalware and optimal arrangement possibilities. The cockpit is the cornerstone of the enjoyable hours on board of CRUISER 41 not only at sea, but also in the port as perfect conclusion of a sailing day. The comfortable seats and the space for the wheelhouse guarantee a comfortable seat posture and a relaxing lying position.

The bathing platform at the stern of CRUISER 41 is huge and offers all the necessary space to have fun at anchor in some suggestive bay. In the design phase, BAVARIA thought not only about the right dimensions, but also about ease of use and immense stability: in the ports, the bathing platform is the entrance to the cockpit, the boarding point for provisions, workspace for the tender as well as the favourite place of the crew for chatting and sunbathing after an exciting sailing day.

The spacious aft cabins, a generous bow shipping cabin with private bathroom, the luxury dinette and the functional kitchen make CRUISER 41 the perfect boat for sailing with your family or friends.

TOWARDS WEST: the Western Ligurian RivieraDURATION: 6 days / 200 miles

Day 1:

Boarding available from 5 pm on booked day

Once done with the fast boarding procedures and the shopping for the trip, you can enjoy an aperitif and a fish dinner in one of the restaurants in Lavagna or, alternatively, eat on the boat at sunset.

Day 2

Leaving from our base in Lavagna, we head for Genoa, without forgetting to plan a stop in Recco to buy the famous cheese focaccia. Aferwards, we proceed towards the Ligurian capital where we suggest the ones who have never visited the city to stop for the night at Porto Antico. This Marina is located in the heart of the old city between the aquarium (the biggest in Italy) and the “caruggi”, little alleys animated by day and night with small shops and typical restaurants where you can have a typical fish dinner.

Day 3

On the next day, we set sail towards Gallinara Island: a Marine Reserve characterized by jagged coastlines covered by the typical essences of the “macchia mediterranea”. The island, surrounded by crystal clear waters, is host to one of the biggest nesting colonies of royal seagulls in the Ligurian Sea.

In the evening we arrive in Imperia, right on time for a sunset walk at Porto San Maurizio.

Day 4

The following day is dedicated to Imperia. Traversing its roads, we can distinguish the two souls that constitute its essence: you can still notice the differences between Oneglia and Porto Maurizio, the first east and the second west of the stream Impero. Oneglia is the major part of Imperia, dominated by Piazza Dante, from which the most modern and crowded streets of the centre branch out. They are characterized by a Piedmontese architecture that witnesses the past reign of the Savoia family.

Porto Maurizio, on the contrary, clings to the rocky walls of a promontory going down to the coast. The alleys, called caruggi, and the lanes or “creuze”, are thickly interwined among the ancient palaces and the fishermen’s houses, creating a fascinating network overlooking the sea.

Day 5

We take off in the early morning after a rich breakfast in one of the famous little bars of the port.

Following the way to San Remo, we anchor in the inlet of Ospedaletti for a bath. From there, and in less than thirty minutes, we enter the French territory: we continue up to Cap Ferrat and explore all the coves of this verdant peninsula. At night, we can visit the lively Nizza. Fish dinner and good drinks in the city centre.

Day 6

The way to our disembarkation base is still long, so we had better get up early to have time for a nice bath in the sea, with the magnificent Ligurian coast in the background, before sailing back to Lavagna and returning the boat.
