Ionian Islands from Lefkas, Greece - ID 142

Day 1: Check-In

Check in from 18.00 at the Marina of Lefkas. Being located in the eastern part of the island, a few hundred meters from the city centre, it is one of the most recent and best-served tourist ports in Greece. After the technical check-in and a short presentation of the boat, you can take your seat in the cabins and board the galley. Dinner ashore and overnight on board.

Day 2

You set sail from Lefkas and follow the long channel with a placid sail to the open sea where you set sail to the small island of Kastos, truly one of the pearls of the Ionian Sea. The small harbour on the eastern side is the ideal stop for a dinner ashore where you can appreciate the excellent local cuisine and the unquestionable hospitality of the inhabitants of this small island. We will sleep in the roadstead.

Day 3

From Kastos, anchor early in the morning for a beautiful sail to Itaka, one of the smallest and yet most fascinating inhabited islands in Greece. You will not fail to be enchanted by the mythical homeland of Ulysses with its petrous bays and white mother-of-pearl and limestone coasts that drop steeply into the crystal-clear sea.

Day 4

From Itaka, sail south to Kefalonia, one of the largest and most remote Ionian islands. Myrtos beach, one of the most famous in Greece, remains one of the most beautiful places to take photos, swim in the blue waters or wait for a spectacular sunset. We will spend a quiet night in the roadstead.

Day 5

We set anchor at dawn to head towards the island of Meganisi, an island that despite its small size, nevertheless offers a variety of beaches, from the better equipped to the wild and unspoilt. It is the perfect place to relax in tranquillity and enjoy the spectacle that this island offers. We will dine ashore in one of the local restaurants and sleep in the roadstead.

Day 6

We will anchor late in the morning, sailing north from Meganisi towards Skorpions Island, a private island almost entirely covered by forests from south to north, offering a scenery of trees of various species and colours. At sunset, you can stop for the night in one of its quiet bays in the south-east, where you will find white beaches surrounded by ancient olive trees.

Day 7

After breakfast amidst the songs of the cicadas of Scorpios, we set sail west towards Lefkas. The beaches of the west coast such as Porto Katsiki and Egremni are characterised by cliffs and turquoise waters. Lunch break at Vatheiavali beach to enjoy the sea and the sun. Return to the Marina at 18:00 hrs with overnight stay in the port included.

Day 8: Check-out

Disembarkation is scheduled at 09:00 on Saturday.

The itinerary might be subject to variations due to weather conditions, safety and technical evaluations of the Captain of the boat. This programming is intended as indicative and non-binding.
