HOW TO GET THERE

The reference airport for the Andaman Islands is Port Blair (IATA code: IXZ), which can only be reached via a stopover in India as there are no direct flights from Italy. From Rome and Milan it is possible to leave by making a stopover in one of the major Indian airports, generally New Delhi, Calcutta or Chennai with the Indian national airline Air India, or choose a flight with two stopovers, adding an intermediate stop in Arab countries such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Day 1: Check-in

Scheduled embarkation in Port Blair, capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Indian Federated State.  For those already there, we recommend visiting the city, home to several points of interest including the Gandhi Marine Park: a collection of forest-covered islands surrounded by coral reefs of extraordinary beauty, where indigenous tribes still live. After going through the quick check-in procedures with the captain, you can enjoy your first evening on board with company or disembark for a relaxing walk around the lake.

Day 2-3

After a good breakfast on board, in the morning you will sail to Neil Island, a small island to explore, a tropical paradise with a beautiful pristine coral reef and dense vegetation. Its most famous beach is Laxmanpur, made up of a long stretch of white sand that provides spectacular sunset walks. Spend two days exploring this small island, which despite its small size will have much to offer.

Day 4-5

Navigation continues northwards to Swaraj Dweep Island, more commonly known as Havelock Island, to which we will devote a couple of days. The first stop is undoubtedly Radhanagar Beach, the most beautiful beach on the island and in the entire archipelago. Its crystal-clear waters, perfect for snorkelling or diving, bathe white sands contrasting with the deep green of the rainforest. Other beaches to discover while sailing are the Elephant beach on the north-west coast and Vijay Nagar beach. In order to preserve the beauty of this pristine island, the local administration pays special attention to ecotourism.

Day 6-7

A few hours' sailing will take you to Long Island, the perfect island for those in search of exclusive and secluded spots. Not too far from the capital Port Blair, it enjoys a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. There are no real roads on the island; they are mostly footpaths, surrounded by greenery and the sounds of nature. The skipper will take you to discover the most beautiful and exclusive beaches with azure waters populated by tropical fish to swim in. A compulsory stop is the beach at Lalaji Bay: a spectacle of nature!

Day 8

Leaving Long Island, you sail south to Ross Island, just opposite the capital Port Blair. This small island is today devoid of inhabitants, but the ruins of numerous buildings constructed during the British occupation are clearly visible. You can go ashore to visit these places rich in history or enjoy a relaxing day at one of its pristine beaches.

Day 9-10

The navigation continues southwards for the last stop of the cruise: Cinque Island. This island is one of the most fascinating destinations in the South Andaman archipelago. Surrounded by turquoise waters and white sandy beaches, Cinque Island offers postcard views. In fact, the two parts of the island are connected by a spectacular white sandbank. You can enjoy two days of complete relaxation on board and ashore, including diving and snorkelling sessions to discover a veritable sanctuary of rare corals.

Day 11

A final sail north to return to Port Blair. During the sail, the skipper will make stops at protected beaches and bays for the last dips in the wonderful waters of the Andaman Sea. Farewell dinner all together and mooring at the port of disembarkation.

Day 12: Check-out

Disembarkation at Port Blair scheduled for around 09.00 in the morning.

The itinerary may be subject to variations based on weather conditions, safety conditions and the technical assessments of the captain of the boat. This program is intended as indicative and not binding.
