Day 1: Check-in

Upon arrival you will be greeted by the town of Castelnaudary. Once settled in your boat, visit the town to discover the Mill of Cugarel and the splendid architecture of the church of San Michele, and take the opportunity to try Cassoulet, the typical local dish based on white beans and pork and duck. .

Day 2

After a relaxing morning navigation, moor for a short bike ride to Bram, a beautiful town built on a circular plan around the village church, where you can visit the Eburomagus Archaeological Museum, containing many finds from the area.

Day 3

Today you will have the fortune to explore the fortified town of Carcassonne and to stroll along the complex cobbled streets, to see restaurants and shops in the shelter of the high walls that surround it. Immerse yourself in this place with a fairytale aura thanks to its towers and its mighty walls that will transport you to the medieval period. You cannot miss a visit to the Comtal castle from where you can admire the fantastic view of the lower town, the canal and the Pyrenees.

Day 4

Your next stop will be Trèbes, a great place to find local products. Following the water course you will arrive at Les Vignes de Bacchus which offers a tasting of local wines, and the olive growers who will offer you olive oil, soap, honey, paté and many other local products. Then you can moor in Homps, a small town where you can relax among the shops and restaurants. At 12 km you can go and visit the beautiful town of Minerve, located on a high rocky promontory, crossed on both sides by rivers in deep gorges and therefore reachable only by crossing a high bridge. Be enchanted by its quaint houses, cobbled streets and pretty church.

Day 5

Today's destination is the beautiful Argens-Minervois, let yourself be enchanted by this town dominated by the square towers of the 14th century castle, perfect for a stroll through its cobbled streets. Do not miss a visit to the village of Paraza where you will find the wonderful church of Notre-Dame de l'Assomption with its nave, choir and decorated vaults, and the castle where you can taste the local wine. Your navigation continues to another place where you can taste the wine under the splendid arches and vaults, namely Ventenac-en-Minervois, famous for its cellar.

Day 6

Today you will visit Narbonne, rich in history and culture. Explore the ancient and majestic buildings that stand out on the streets, including the Archbishop's Palace, consisting of two structures one of Roman origin and the other Gothic, home to the Museum of Art and Archeology, and the Cathedral of Saint-Just- et-Saint-Pasteur.

Day 7

You can follow your navigation to the visit of Capestang where you will appreciate the gothic church of St. Étienne. Then you will cross the Malpas tunnel, 173 meters long, the first tunnel channel in Europe, to get to Colombiers. Once at your destination, visit the church of Saint-Sylvestre and the Oppidum d'Ensérune, a famous archaeological site and museum. Then, after passing the Fonsérannes locks, you will stop in Béziers, where you will discover the Saint-Nazaire cathedral located on a rocky mountain offering a splendid panorama, and the Museum of Fine Arts with works by Rubens and Delacroix.

Check-out is scheduled in the morning by 09:00.

This modern boat is ideal for 6 persons but thanks to the convertible dinette can comfortably take up to 8 persons on board. It’s a great boat with a lot of outstanding space to relax and take sun. There’s a fully equipped L-shaped kitchen, a gorgeous saloon with radio/CD player, and a huge elevated sundeck big enough for everyone aboard to relax. Available for wheelchairs (on request).
