Day 1: Check-in

The first day you will visit Le Mas d'Agenais which is an ancient settlement of the Augustan period, which later became a fortified city in the Middle Ages, here there is the splendid Venus of the 1st century BC. located in the archaeological museum and a rare and precious Christ on the Cross that can be admired in the Romanesque church "La Collègiale de St. Vincet". Then you can begin the navigation of the lower Garonne, easy and relaxing, between cultivated fields, groves and vineyards. You will see the charm of the "bastides", historical medieval settlements of the South-West of France with the curious "pigeonnier", one of the most popular subjects of popular architecture by photographers.

Day 2

Today the destinations are Damazan, a medieval old town with important half-timbered houses and Buzet sur Baise, famous for its wine production. From here the river itineraries divide. The Baise River has a fascinating navigation with a few locks and ancient villages, bastides and castles that rise along it.

Day 3

As for the third day we will take you to the Bastide de Vianne which is a fortified city of the twelfth century, do not miss the opportunity to admire the glass masters while they work the glass. Continuing the navigation do not forget to dock in Lavardac, in this place you will have the opportunity to play many sports activities such as golf, paintball, archery, canoeing and horse and pony rides.

Day 4

The key point of your holiday will be Nerac, in this wonderful village typical of the South of France you will find the ancient castle of King Henry IV and Queen Margot, medieval half-timbered houses, sumptuous restaurants and bistros with exclusive products such as Armagnac and Foie Gras. Take advantage of it to stop in Moncrebeau, where you will find yourself swept away by the humor of the "Festival of Liars", you cannot miss a visit to the Michel Goma museum, a well-known French designer.

Day 5

On the fifth day you will continue along the river that will take you to Valence and Condom, which flows between gentle curves and ancient mills, in the heart of Gascony, the capital of Armagnac. In Condom there is the historical museum of this fine wine, the city is to be discovered with curiosity and attention if only to admire statues and many references dedicated to D'Artagnan and his three Musketeers.

Day 6

A stop that we highly recommend is to arrive by boat to the Flaran Abbey, located near Valence sur Baise, which will offer you landscapes to relax and splendid monuments to discover.

Day 7

To reach Castelsarrasin, famous for its marvelous public gardens, you will have to cross the Garonne through Agen rich in history, art and culture, and Moissac where you cannot miss a visit to the great abbey of Saint-Pierre de Moissac. Another possibility is to detour to Montech and take the canal of the same name to go to Montauban, on the Tarn river and by bicycles go to the center crossing the Ponte Vecchio supported by the Bishop's Palace, seat of the Ingres museum, in which unmissable to visit is the "Du Prince Noir" room.
