Pearls fo Portugal

There are a lot of city centres full of castles, old walls and ruins that have been declared UNESCO sites, holding past traces and now are important architectural buildings. Monasteries, control towers, walls that used to surround the city during the past and now are tourist attractions, for the natural beauty of the rocky shape but also for the historical and cultural edifices.

Portimao is one of the most famous cities in Portugal, set between the ocean and the crossing river, giving to tourist and local inhabitants a well preserved old town, divided between Portimao, with the centre facing out to the sea and the historical church, and Rio Arade, the most contemporary part of the region. Playa de la Rocha is the most famous beach in Portimao, characterized by a rocky coastline and from here it is possible to observe burning sunsets, better if you move to the Fortaleza de Santa Caterina.

Sagres and Silves are two typical hamlets less inhabited, surrounded by the ocean, where it is possible to breath the true Portuguese soul to visit on board a comfortable sailing catamaran.
